This of my favorite videos and always provides me with a pep talk when I'm feeling overwhelmed by the job.

Rite Pierson gives a TED Talk that inspires teachers to remember that children need connections and relationships. Children are human and just like adults, they need acceptance and encouragement. I hope you enjoy this video. I watched it so many times, I may have it memorized!

  2. Thanks for the final 'pep talk' Rebecca. Very thoughtful of you to leave us with such a message. I am very happy to have been working with you for the second time. Your work is amazing. Keep it up! I want to express my gratefulness to you once again for all your contributions and insights. It has certainly helped me to progress and become an even better individual going forward in my academic goals. I do wish you all the best in your future course and do hope that we will certainly cross parts again. I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes, "Work hard for what you want because it won’t come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive."

    Thanks again to you!

  3. Thanks ladies! I had two videos to post. The other was on leadership in education but it was too large to post. Here's the link:

  4. Rebecca,
Thank you so much for sharing the video. Hands down one of the best videos I have watched in a long time. My favorite line, "your toughest student will never be absent". So true. I wish you the best as you continue and hope our paths cross again.
